When we first met Kelly and Greg, we instantly clicked. So when Tom and I showed up to shoot their engagement photos, it felt like we were hanging out with old friends. We talked about Netflix and binge watching House of Cards and Breaking Bad (my kind of people, seriously) as we wandered around Wissahickon Valley Park right outside of Philly. Kelly had brought this charming hand-crafted wooden sign which she found in Florida while visiting Greg’s mom. Luckily, she was able to track down the artist (who lives in Maine) to customize their wedding date! It was so unique and personal to them and it also made a perfect backdrop for Kelly’s gorgeous engagement ring!
From the time we started the booking process for their wedding, Kelly showed so much enthusiasm for our work, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to have clients who want you, not just any old wedding photographer that fits the budget. After spending a couple of hours with these two for their engagement session, it’s so beautifully obvious how smitten Kelly and Greg are with each other, and it was awesome to have them in front of my camera. We couldn’t be more excited about photographing their upcoming Blue Bell wedding next fall! After this shoot, I know it’s going to be one of my favorites.
Congrats again you two!! 🙂
