Spirit of Philadelphia Wedding || Peter & Alexis

We could not be more excited to share Alexis and Peter’s summer wedding which took place on The Spirit Of Philadelphia! Alexis and Peter’s day was elegant and absolutely full of super excited family and friends. This was a really fun crew, and they were all so clearly over-the-moon-happy for the bride and groom! We began our day at the lovely Four Points Sheraton Hotel where preparations and the groom’s games were underway. Once Peter had proven his worth to the bridesmaids he was granted admission to see his beautiful bride-to-be! After their sweet first look it was time for a very heartfelt ceremony which was conducted by Alexis’ dad.

The little details of the day were some of my favorite things. I loved that Alexis and Peter incorporated some Chinese traditional elements into their wedding. They had a Tea Ceremony for Peter’s family and they were given lucky red envelops containing both money and jewelry. Alexis changed into a beautiful Qipao traditional red wedding dress. The reception tables were decorated with beautiful red and gold accents and custom chopsticks. I absolutely loved their Chinese dragon cake! Add Peter’s best man signing Despacito making this reception a whole lot of fun! Once the boat had docked we headed over to Washington Square Park for some bridal party photos! It was a very early day for this group but they were troopers braving the heat and having some fun with us for those final pictures of the day.

Alexis and Peter, thank you so much for choosing us as your wedding photographers! You are two of the nicest people on the planet. You are kind, thoughtful and quick to laugh. We are so happy for you two, you guys are amazing! CONGRATS!!!! 🙂
